ART IN THE HOTEL

Currently showcasing more than 150 contemporary artworks, The First Roma plays host to a dynamic exhibition of young artists and masters of the 20th century curated by Galleria Mucciaccia.

About Galleria Mucciaccia

Galleria Mucciaccia, located just 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel, was founded in 2006 by Massimiliano Mucciaccia, gallery owner, collector and lover of art.

Since its inception, the Galleria Mucciaccia has been dedicated to promoting modern and contemporary art in Italy and abroad (Europe, United States and Singapore), in cooperation with institutions and private foundations.

In recent years, the Mucciaccia Gallery has organized exhibitions of artists such as Cristiano Pintaldi, Giorgio de Chirico, Robert Rauschenberg and Jacques Villegle, and others who continue to influence the next generation of artists.

The mandate is to give visibility and importance to the great masters of the 20th century, while simultaneously promoting the work of younger artists that are successful in the world market.

The gallery originally started with a systematic and fruitful collaboration with some of the San Lorenzo group of artists, including Piero Pizzi Cannella; and with the famous international painters and sculptors OF the Roman artistic environment, such as Luciano Ventrone, Cristiano Pintaldi, Oliviero Rainaldi, Maurizio Savini and Francesca Leone.

The aim of the gallery is to provide a dynamic space where artists, art critics, collectors and students can collaborate on exciting new projects, explore new themes and develop new insights.

Massimiliano began his artistic training from a young age at the family art gallery, where his skills were appreciated by many famous artists. This mastery and experience has seen him successfully open his own exhibition spaces in Rome, Cortina d' Ampezzo and Singapore.
